Job Description

Customer Relationship Manager (CRM), is responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. They handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, working to resolve issues and improve the overall customer experience. CRMs also play a role in identifying opportunities to generate revenue and improve customer retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Building and Maintaining Relationships - there will be a focus on fostering long-term relationships with customers by understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Handling Inquiries and Complaints - this person will be the primary point of contact for customers, addressing their concerns and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Improving Customer Satisfaction - The CRM will work to improve customer satisfaction by implementing feedback, suggesting improvements, and proactively seeking ways to enhance the customer experience.
  • Identifying Revenue Opportunities - They will analyze customer data and behaviors to identify potential upsell and cross-sell opportunities, as well as areas for improvement in customer retention.
  • Collaborating with Other Departments - CRMs work closely with accounting and operations/service teams to ensure a cohesive customer experience.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with customers, resolving issues, and conveying information.

  • Problem-solving:

CRMs need to be able to identify the root cause of customer issues and develop effective solutions.

  • Customer-centric mindset:

They should prioritize customer satisfaction and needs, always striving to exceed expectations.

  • Negotiation:

CRMs may need to negotiate contracts or terms with customers, especially for complex or high-profile accounts.

  • Analytical skills:

They should be able to analyze customer data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Adaptability and flexibility:

CRMs need to be able to adapt to changing customer needs and market conditions.
