TMD High Voltage Lab Production/Warehouse Associate
Under the general direction of the High Voltage Lab Supervisor, the HV Lab Production/Warehouse Associate will perform production labor work in a high voltage testing lab. Duties will include cleaning, visually inspecting, and testing a variety of protective equipment used in the electric utility and commercial electric industries, along with packing the products to prepare for shipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning protective equipment
- Visual inspection of protective equipment.
- Testing of a variety of protective equipment used in the electric utility and commercial electric industries
- Packing of protective equipment products for shipping.
- Detailed record keeping.
- Warehouse duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or as may be required.
Requirements:
- HS Diploma/GED
- Stable Multi-year Work History
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Prefer ability to operate forklift
- Prefer previous production/assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
- Attention to Detail
- Accurate record keeping and documentation skills
- Acceptable near vision (with or without correction) to be able to read small numbers on products and to be able to identify defects in products
- Dependability
- Good Communication Skills (speaking, reading and writing)
- Ability to stand on feet, bend or stoop for a prolonged period of time
- Ability to carry out duties in a safe and efficient manner
- Additional Requirements: Background check clearance including drug screening and I-9 documentation as required by law
