Texas Mobile Radiology is seeking qualified Sonographers to help provide services within various nearby locations. We are a close-knit group of professionals, Radiologists, Technologists, and Sonographers that thoroughly enjoy our work place. Respect and professionalism are our watchwords. SHIFT: FTE M-F 9-5:30, No overnight call.
Responsibilities/Competencies:
Technical Skills:
-Perform duties consistent with quality based diagnostic imaging professional.
-Perform diagnostic level medical imaging and transmit digital images to Radiologist for interpretation using portable digital equipment.
-Ensures operation of imaging equipment following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; maintaining equipment inventories and assisting leadership with evaluating new equipment and imaging techniques.
-Maintain professional license and technical knowledge to maintain standard CEU requirements.
-Maintain equipment cleanliness and maintenance schedule through organizational leadership and other responsibilities including: scanning, filing, faxing, photocopying, and mailings.
-Document patient care services as required.
Patient Care:
-Gain patient cooperation by reducing anxieties; providing explanations of treatment; answering questions and demonstrate committed care and compassion for others.
-Prepare patient for diagnostic exam, perform appropriate positioning of patient; adjusting immobilization devices and equipment into specified position; adjusting equipment controls to acquire diagnostic images.
-Maintain needed medical supply inventory; anticipate needed supplies; verify receipt of supplies.

-Maintains safe and clean working environment as required by state and local regulatory agencies.
-Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
Communication:
-Demonstrate professional behavior and willingness to grow personally and professionally.
-Communicate efficiently and perform professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
-Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
-Maintain professionalism within all exposed environments (ALs, nursing facilities, patient's home, clinics).
Required:
-Active regulatory licensing
-2 Years minimum experience
-New graduates ARE hire eligible (must complete licensing requirements within regulatory allotted time).
-Valid Driver’s License
-State licenses/ARMDs Certifications (sono)
