Job Description :
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Administrative Director of Emergency Services to lead our Emergency Department (ED), Pediatric ED, and Free-Standing Emergency Departments (FSEDs). This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality patient care, operational excellence, and strategic growth within our emergency services.
Responsibilities As the Administrative Director, you will :
Oversee the operations of a Level II Trauma Center, Pediatric ED, and multiple FSEDs.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient experience, staff engagement, and departmental efficiency.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and safety protocols.
Manage a team of ~160 FTEs, including directors, managers, and clinical staff.
Drive performance improvement initiatives and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
Qualifications :
Education : Master’s Degree required (Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field).
Licensure : Current RN license or eligibility in the state of Texas.
Certifications : ACLS, PALS required. CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) and TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) preferred.
Experience : Minimum 5 years of recent acute care ED Director experience, managing 80 FTEs and overseeing an ED with 60,000 annual visits.

Facility Overview : 457-bed acute care hospital with Level II Trauma, Level III NICU, and Comprehensive Stroke Center.
ED Overview :
Adult ER : 29 beds, ~150 patients / day.
Pediatric ER : 10 beds, ~40,000 visits / year.
3 Free-Standing EDs.
Reporting Structure : Reports to the CNO, with 3 directors (Adult ER, Pediatric ER, FSEDs) under your leadership.
