Job Title : Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) - Behavioral Health
Location : Ladson, SC
Schedule : Full-Time, Days (No Weekends)
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range : $109,449 - $142,292 (up to $150K based on experience)
- Bonus Potential : 15% - 22.5%
- Sign-On Bonus : Case-by-case basis
- Relocation Assistance : Available (case-by-case basis)
Job Summary
The Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) will work closely with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to manage resources, develop strategies, and create policies that support high-quality patient care. The ACNO will lead specific patient care areas and strategic initiatives, providing opportunities to develop essential communication, leadership, and business skills for future career advancement. Key Responsibilities
Assist in formulating and implementing nursing policies and procedures to ensure high standards of care.Lead performance improvement initiatives focused on enhancing patient care quality.Foster collaboration and open communication across departments to improve operational efficiency.Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining high-quality care.Manage special projects , ensuring timely progress and achieving desired outcomes.Collaborate in the design and implementation of new or renovated patient care areas.Work with nursing educators to identify and address staff development and training needs.Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, other healthcare providers, and staff.Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership.Qualifications
Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.Master's Degree in Nursing or a related health science field required (or proof of enrollment with a plan for completion).Experience :
Minimum 5 years of management experience , with at least 3 years in direct hospital or acute care leadership roles .Licensure :
Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license required.Preferred Experience :
Inpatient behavioral health experience in a hospital or behavioral health unit within an acute care setting.Knowledge of behavioral health regulations and patient care protocols.Familiarity with emergency room throughput and patient transfers for behavioral health patients .Additional Information
The facility includes two adult units (24 beds each) and one adolescent unit (12 beds), totaling 60 beds .Reports to the COO , with dotted-line reporting to the CNO .Works alongside a collaborative executive team including the COO and AVP of Nursing Operations.Oversees approximately 100 staff , including 75 FTEs , managers, house supervisors, CNCs, floor staff, and mental health technicians.Keywords & Hashtags
