Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist – Full-Time – Days

Overview
A 267-bed acute care hospital in Fort Walton Beach, FL is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional procedures in a high-volume cardiovascular department. The role includes technical assistance in interventional cardiology, structural heart, peripheral vascular, and interventional radiology procedures for adult patients.
Responsibilities
Prepare and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures
Operate imaging and diagnostic equipment in support of invasive cardiovascular procedures
Monitor patient vitals and document procedural data
Maintain sterile field and ensure procedural compliance
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to urgent procedures as needed
Requirements
1 year of acute care Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technology or Radiologic Technology required
BLS certification (within 30 days of hire)
ACLS certification (within 90 days of hire)
Must obtain one of the following certifications within 1 year of hire:
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
Cardiovascular Technologist (CV Tech)
Certified Vascular Interventional Radiology
Registered Vascular Technician (RVT)
