RN CSICU (Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit)
- Location: Tallahassee, FL
- Full-Time | Permanent | Night Shifts Available
- Pay: $27.72 - $39.60/hr (based on experience)
- Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000 (case-by-case for nights) | Up to $15,000 (for days, if applicable)
- Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case
Shift Differentials:
- Specialty Differential: $2.50/hr
- Nights: $3/hr
- Weekends: $2/hr
About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and skilled RN CSICU professionals to join our team in a fast-paced Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) . In this role, you’ll provide exceptional care to critically ill patients recovering from cardiac surgery, ensuring they receive the highest level of monitoring, treatment, and support. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver life-saving care in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
✔️ Monitor patients requiring close observation and frequent assessments, ensuring timely interventions.
✔️ Serve as a patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality.
✔️ Educate patients and families about medications, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
✔️ Provide high-acuity care with a focus on continuous improvement and clinical excellence.
✔️ Obtain required certifications, including NIHSS Stroke Certification within 30 days and CCRN within 2 years of hire.
✔️ Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
Active RN License (Compact license accepted – must apply for FL license).
1 Year of Acute Care RN Experience Required (ICU experience not mandatory but preferred).
BLS Required | ACLS Required (within 6 months of hire).
BSN Preferred.
CCRN Certification Preferred (must be obtained within 2 years of hire).
