About the Role

In this role, you’ll provide exceptional care to critically ill patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessments. As part of a dedicated team, you’ll work autonomously while collaborating with physicians and staff to deliver life-saving care in a fast-paced, Level 2 Trauma Center.
Key Responsibilities
✔️ Serve as a patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality.
✔️ Conduct thorough clinical assessments and manage treatment plans autonomously.
✔️ Provide high-focus care with a commitment to continuous improvement.
✔️ Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and post-discharge instructions.
✔️ Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
✔️ Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
Qualifications
🔹 Active RN License (Florida license, compact license accepted – must apply for FL license).
🔹 1 Year of Acute Care RN Experience Required (CVICU or ICU experience preferred).
🔹 BLS Certification Required | ACLS Certification Required within 6 months of hire.
🔹 BSN Preferred | Associate Degree or RN Diploma acceptable.
🔹 CCRN Certification Preferred (must be obtained within 2 years).
🔹 NIHSS Stroke Certification Required within 30 days of hire.
