Job Title: Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Emergency Room
Location: Hermitage, TN
Schedule: Full-Time, Days (7 AM - 7 PM), Rotating Weekends
Pay Range: $34.24 - $45.75/hr (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
Relocation Assistance: $5,000 (if over 50 miles from the facility)
Position Overview
Join our Emergency Room team at a Level III Trauma Center serving up to 166 patients daily. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to make an impact in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and guiding a skilled team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all unit functions during assigned shifts.
- Monitor, assess, and document changes in patients' conditions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, evaluate, and modify care plans as needed.
- Delegate nursing tasks appropriately while maintaining accountability for patient care.
- Provide patient, family, and caregiver education throughout the care continuum.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards.
Unit Details
- Trauma Level: III
- Beds in Unit: 22
- Patient Volume: Up to 166 patients daily
Qualifications
Education:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required)
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Licensure:
- Active RN license in Tennessee or Compact State RN license
Certifications:
- Current BLS (required)
- ACLS and PALS (within 1 year of employment)
- CPI (within 6 months of employment)
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2-3 years in Emergency Room nursing (required for day shift)
- Prior Charge Nurse experience (required for day shift)
- Trauma Experience (preferred)
