Your Role as a CT Technologist Responsibilities
As a CT Technologist , you’ll perform advanced imaging procedures to support accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient care. Here’s what you’ll do:
Imaging Procedures:
- Perform CT scans and radiology procedures with precision, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnoses.
- Provide imaging services to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics, in both hospital and free-standing emergency department (FSED) settings.
Patient Care:
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety, explaining procedures clearly to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate rapport with patients, families, and medical staff.
Quality Assurance:
- Adhere to strict quality control standards and protocols to ensure accurate and timely results.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and verify imaging outcomes.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Operate and maintain state-of-the-art CT equipment, troubleshooting minor issues as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines, including radiation safety protocols.
Shift Flexibility:
- Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and mixed schedules, to meet the needs of the facility.
- May be required to work at multiple locations, including the hospital and FSED.

- Competitive Pay: $27.42–$36.95/hour, heavily based on years of experience.
- Shift Differentials:
- Evenings: $2.00/hour
- Nights: $3.75/hour
- Weekends: $3.50/hour (applies only if it’s your regularly scheduled shift)

Who We’re Looking For

- Experience: At least 1 year of CT experience required. Acute care experience is not mandatory for hospital roles but is required for FSED opportunities.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program.
- Certifications:
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license.
- ARRT (R) & (CT) registry preferred.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Skills: Strong technical proficiency, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
