Sonographer – Full-Time | Tallahassee, FL
Schedule: Night Shift | Thursday–Sunday | 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends
- Hourly Pay Range: $32.00 – $40.00/hr (based on experience)
- Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
- Relocation Assistance: Case by case
- Shift Differentials: TBD (pending facility confirmation)
About the Role
We’re hiring a motivated Sonographer to join our imaging team during the overnight shift. In this role, you'll use diagnostic ultrasound technology to provide critical imaging services for patients across various departments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and ready to make an impact in a high-performing, patient-centered environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level sonographers with strong fundamentals and a passion for learning in a clinical setting.
What You’ll Do-Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures under physician direction
Use imaging equipment proficiently to obtain high-quality diagnostic results
Provide imaging services to patients in multiple clinical settings as needed
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and team members
Document procedures accurately and maintain updated patient records
Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled with the imaging team
Requirements
Certificate or Associate Degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound required
3–6 months of sonography experience required (acute care not required)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required within 30 days of start
Must hold or obtain ARDMS registry or ARRT (S) certification
Must obtain one of the following within 1 year:
Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
Vascular Sonography
Registered Vascular Technician (RVT)
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently during night shift
