Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced Director of Surgical Services to provide strategic leadership for our extensive perioperative services. This key leadership position oversees 25 operating rooms across multiple campuses, managing a team of 5 managers and approximately 230 FTEs while handling 1,000 surgical cases monthly .
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24 / 7 executive oversight of all surgical services operations
- Lead and develop a team of 5 managers and 230 perioperative staff members
- Drive operational excellence and quality outcomes across 25 operating rooms
- Manage complex service lines including trauma, burn care, surgical oncology, neurosurgery, and orthopedics
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain highest standards of patient care
- Develop and execute strategic growth initiatives
- Oversee performance improvement programs and quality metrics
- Direct fiscal management and capital equipment planning
- Build strategic partnerships with physicians and key stakeholders
- Advance customer experience and clinical excellence initiatives
