Manager of Facilities Management – Austin, TX

  • Location : Austin, TX
  • Salary : Up to $99K (based on experience)
  • Schedule : Full-time, Days (Rotating Weekends)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager of Facilities Management to oversee maintenance operations, plant operations, security, and office staff in a healthcare setting. This role ensures the efficient upkeep of equipment, building structures, and compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise maintenance teams to ensure operational efficiency and safety
  • Oversee preventive maintenance programs for uninterrupted facility operations
  • Ensure timely completion of scheduled work orders and budget adherence
  • Maintain documentation for repairs, maintenance, and regulatory compliance
  • Manage energy conservation programs in line with state and federal requirements
  • Enforce safety procedures and training programs for staff
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of necessary equipment and supplies

    • Qualifications

    Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, High School Diploma, or Vocational School Graduate

    5 years of facilities maintenance experience in a hospital or large medical setting

    CMS experience required

    Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) preferred
