Labor and Delivery RN | Full-Time | Night Shift | Rotating Weekends
Location : Richmond, VA
Salary : $35.00 - $45.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Sign-On Bonus : Up to $15,000
Weekend Differential : $7 per hour
Relocation Assistance : Case-by-Case Basis
About the Role
We are hiring a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a 12-suite L&D unit . This full-time night shift position offers competitive pay, shift differentials, and a sign-on bonus . Candidates from any acute care unit are welcome to apply, as cross-training is available .
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to delivering mothers and newborns
Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor and delivery
Collaborate with OBGYNs, anesthesiologists, and lactation consultants
Document patient care using electronic medical records
Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care
Maintain a safe and compassionate environment for patients and families
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
Active RN license in Virginia or compact / multi-state RN license
1 year of acute care nursing experience required
1 year of Labor & Delivery experience preferred (Open to cross-training)
BLS Certification (AHA or Red Cross required)
NRP Certification preferred
