Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manager of Facilities Management to oversee plant operations, life safety compliance, and emergency preparedness. This role ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies and supports the physical plant maintenance, utility management, and construction projects within the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage plant operations and engineering, ensuring preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Serve as the Safety Officer and lead Environment of Care (EOC) management.
- Coordinate construction, renovation, and relocation projects across hospital facilities.
- Oversee physical space control, landscaping, and property development.
- Ensure compliance with life safety, regulatory, and quality improvement programs.
- Provide leadership to engineering staff and facility teams to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3-5 years of experience in healthcare engineering.
- 3 years of supervisory experience in facility management.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, life safety codes, and emergency preparedness.
