🔹 Role Overview
A leading healthcare facility in Fort Walton Beach, FL is seeking a Med Surg Neuro Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care for neurology and medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Assess, plan, and implement patient care for neuro and med-surg patients
✔️ Administer medications & treatments as per physician orders
✔️ Monitor patient progress & collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
✔️ Educate patients & families on medications, treatments, and discharge instructions
✔️ Ensure compliance with hospital policies & patient safety protocols
📋 What You Need to Succeed
✅ 1 Year of Acute Care Med Surg RN Experience Required
✅ Active Florida RN License (or Compact RN with FL License Application in Progress)
✅ Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree Required (BSN Preferred)
✅ Certifications Required (or within 30 Days of Hire):
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- NIH Stroke Scale (within 30 days of hire)
