About the Role
We are seeking an Oncology RN to join a compassionate, dynamic healthcare team in Tallahassee, FL. This role offers the opportunity to care for oncology patients within a supportive, patient-centered environment. As an Oncology RN, you'll be responsible for clinical assessments, treatment management, patient advocacy, and educating patients and families on procedures, medications, and treatments.
Key Responsibilities
✔️ Collect comprehensive data about the patient’s health and condition.
✔️ Analyze assessment data to develop an individualized care plan.
✔️ Advocate for patient safety and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
✔️ Educate patients and families about treatments and medications.
✔️ Maintain effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
Qualifications
🔹 1 Year of Recent Acute Care RN Experience (preferably in oncology).
🔹 Active RN License (compact license accepted; FL RN license required).
🔹 BLS Certification (ACLS preferred, required within 6 months of hire).
🔹 BSN is preferred.
🔹 Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5–1:6.
Shift Details & Differentials
🔹 Shifts Available:
- Days (Rotating Weekends): 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.
- Nights (Rotating Weekends): 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.
🔹 Shift Differentials:
- Nights: $3.00/hour.
- Weekends: $2.00/hour.
