Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory testing with precision, ensuring timely and accurate results.
- Maintain quality control protocols and resolve discrepancies in testing or calibration.
- Interpret and correlate patient results, taking independent actions when necessary.
- Complete all required records and documentation for patient results.
- Assist with the resolution of pending logs and outstanding workload.
- Demonstrate proficiency in lab procedures and stat tests within established timeframes.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology preferred.
- Licensure: State of Florida Medical Technologist License required.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Technologist in a clinical setting is preferred (recent blood bank experience is a must). New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Specialties: Generalist license preferred, or licensure in 3 of the following areas: Blood Bank, Serology, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology.
