Nurse Manager - Post-Surgical Neuro-Oncology
Location: South Carolina
Schedule: Full-Time, Days (Rotating Weekends)
Salary: Mid-Range $95,000
Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Assistance: Considered on a case-by-case basis
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to oversee the daily operations and staff management of a 34-bed Post-Surgical Neuro-Oncology unit. This role ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and compliance with organizational policies and procedures. The Nurse Manager will also hold staff accountable for clinical outcomes and performance aligned with the hospital's objectives.
Responsibilities
- Provide oversight of daily unit functions and staffing needs.
- Monitor and evaluate the delivery of nursing care according to established policies.
- Ensure the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.
- Serve as a resource for staff, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
- Lead efforts in staff development, training, and evaluations.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care coordination to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current RN license (or active compact license as applicable).
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Education:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or RN Diploma required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing leadership or supervisory experience in an acute care setting.
- Skills: Proven skills in staff management and operational oversight.
