Your Role as a Physical Therapist

As a Physical Therapist , you’ll provide high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the therapeutic process for an assigned group of patients. Here’s what you’ll do :

Patient Assessments & Care Plans :

Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized care plans that focus on goal achievement, patient engagement, and positive outcomes.

Collaborate with physicians and the patient care team to ensure comprehensive treatment.

Therapeutic Interventions :

Provide purposeful and skilled therapeutic care using evidence-based procedures and techniques to improve patients’ functional status.

Administer treatments consistent with the physician’s plan of care.

Patient Education :

Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on the use of therapies, exercises, therapeutic appliances, and prosthetic devices for use outside therapy sessions.

Caseload Management :

Prioritize caseloads, determine daily staffing needs, and coordinate assignments to ensure smooth operations.

Ensure timely handoffs and seamless transitions throughout the continuum of care.

Compliance & Ethics :

Adhere to all legal and ethical standards established by law and professional codes of conduct.

Who We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need :

Experience : At least 2 years of recent acute care experience as a Physical Therapist.

Education : Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required.

Certifications : Current Physical Therapist license in Florida; Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
