About the Role:
As a Cardiac Telemetry RN, you will:
Monitor and assess patients with acute cardiac conditions.
Interpret ECGs and respond to emergency situations.
Provide advanced clinical care and ensure patient safety.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
About the Unit:
36-Bed Cardiac Specialty Unit.
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio:
Day Shift: 4-5:1
Night Shift: 5-6:1
Patient Conditions Include: Chest pain, stroke, COPD, post-op care, GI conditions, accelerated heart rhythm, drips, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide therapeutic and administrative services in accordance with hospital policies.
Care for patients over 16 years of age requiring cardiac monitoring and step-down care.
Develop advanced knowledge in psychosocial, spiritual, pathophysiological, and therapeutic components of cardiac care.
Identify patient risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
Experience: 1 year of acute care RN experience required.
Education: Diploma, ADN, or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
Licensure: Current RN license from the Missouri State Board of Nursing or a multistate RN license from a compact state.
Certifications:
BLS required upon hire.
ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
