What You’ll Do-Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day clinical operations for the Labor & Delivery unit
- Support and coach nursing staff while driving accountability and engagement
- Lead quality initiatives and process improvements for maternal outcomes
- Collaborate with directors, physicians, and support services for effective care delivery
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Monitor budget, staffing, and unit performance metrics
- Serve as clinical resource and role model to bedside nurses
- Active RN license in Texas
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
- 3–5 years of recent acute care L&D leadership experience required
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (within 6 months of hire)
- BLS and NRP required (NRP within 6 months of hire)
- ACLS preferred
- Oversee a high-volume L&D unit with 15–20 beds and a strong reputation in maternal care
- Lead a dedicated clinical team in a nationally recognized women’s healthcare environment
