- Schedule: Full-Time | Rotating Weekends
- Compensation: $38.52 - $53.70 per hour (Based on Experience)
- Sign-On Bonus: Case-by-Case Basis
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced RN Nurse Manager to lead a Medical-Surgical Unit in a dynamic, patient-centered healthcare setting. This role requires strong leadership skills, operational oversight, and a commitment to quality care. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for ensuring staff performance, regulatory compliance, and departmental efficiency while fostering a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Oversee daily operations of the Med-Surg unit to maintain high-quality patient care
✔ Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards (State, TJC, CMS, AHCA)
✔ Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff to enhance team performance
✔ Collaborate with hospital administration to manage budgets, resources, and program initiatives
✔ Drive quality improvement efforts to enhance patient safety and clinical outcomes
✔ Maintain effective interdisciplinary communication for optimal patient care
Qualifications
🔹 Current RN License in Florida (or Compact Licensure eligibility)
🔹 Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
🔹 BLS Certification (Required within 30 days of start)
🔹 3 years of clinical Med-Surg nursing experience in an acute care setting
🔹 Previous nursing leadership or management experience preferred
