Key Responsibilities
✔️ Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Observation/Med-Surg unit.
✔️ Manage a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, ensuring timely assessments, treatments, and discharges.
✔️ Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless care for patients with conditions like chest pain.
✔️ Adapt quickly to high patient turnover, often discharging and admitting new patients within a single shift.
✔️ Educate patients and families about medications, procedures, and post-discharge care plans.
✔️ Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to regulatory standards.
Qualifications
🔹 Active RN License (Florida license required; compact licensure accepted – must apply for FL license).
🔹 Bachelor’s Degree or RN Diploma Required.
🔹 1 Year of Recent (Within Last 4 Years) Acute Care RN Experience Required (Observation, Med-Surg, or ER experience preferred).
🔹 Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
🔹 Must live within a 60-minute commute of the facility.
