About the Role
Join a 523-bed, full-service acute care hospital in Gainesville, FL as an RN Renal Vascular Specialist. Provide expert care to patients with renal and vascular conditions in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities
✔️ Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
✔️ Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
✔️ Advocate for patient safety and efficient use of time, supplies, and equipment.
✔️ Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and treatments.
✔️ Manage a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio in a 45-bed unit.
Qualifications
🔹 Active RN License (Florida required; compact licensure accepted but must apply for FL license).
🔹 Nursing Diploma or ASN Required | BSN Preferred.
🔹 1 Year of Recent Acute Care RN Experience Required (Med-Surg, Med Tele, IMU, PCU, or similar).
🔹 BLS Certification (AHA Healthcare Provider) Required.
🔹 NIH Stroke Scale Certification Required (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
🔹 Must live within a 60-minute commute of the facility.
Shift Details & Differentials
🕒 Available Shifts:
✔️ Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
✔️ Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
💵 Shift Differentials:
✔️ Nights: $4.25/hour
✔️ Weekends: $3.00/hour
