Overview
Seeking an experienced VP of Emergency Services to lead a large-scale emergency department network, including adult and pediatric ERs and three FSEDs. This executive will oversee operations, quality, compliance, and strategic growth while fostering a patient-first culture.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all emergency care operations, strategic planning, and team development
Oversee staffing (~160 FTEs), patient experience, and performance metrics
Ensure compliance with clinical, financial, and regulatory standards
Collaborate with executive leadership and medical staff on service line development
Manage budgets, throughput, and labor productivity
Requirements
BSN required; Master’s preferred (MSN, MHA, MBA)
Current RN license (TX or compact)
5 years of recent leadership in high-volume acute care ER (50K visits/year)
BLS certification
