VP of Quality Risk Management Location : Tallahassee, FL Full-Time-Day Shift Salary : $110,000 - $150,000 annually, based on experience Annual Bonus : Up to 15% Relocation Assistance Available Are you an experienced healthcare leader passionate about improving quality and patient safety? Join our team as a VP of Quality Risk Management and lead the efforts to elevate the standard of care at our 288-bed acute care hospital. You'll work with a skilled team, oversee quality and compliance, and ensure patient safety while meeting regulatory standards. Responsibilities : Lead the planning and management of the Quality Department, including Infection Control, Joint Commission compliance, CMS standards, and performance improvement. Ensure regulatory readiness by coordinating survey preparations and action plans for improvements. Oversee core measures, medical staff peer reviews, and facility-wide quality improvement initiatives. Collaborate with leadership to achieve strategic goals and deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care. Present data and recommendations to hospital executives and the board of trustees, making impactful decisions. Manage a team of quality professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications : 3-5 years of recent acute care quality leadership experience, ideally at the Director level or higher. Bachelor's degree in healthcare or a related field (RN preferred but not required). Master's degree preferred. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) required (or willing to obtain within 12 months). Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, performance improvement, and data-driven decision-making. Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive healthcare quality initiatives.
