Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookeeper to oversee our office operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our payroll, accounts payable, deposits, and daily work. The ideal candidate needs strong organizational skills, understanding of financial concepts, and experience with QuickBooks desktop software. This role is essential for maintaining financial records and working with our CPA once a month, or as needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in paying bills, payroll deposits, sales tax reports and making deposits daily to the bank.
- Oversee paperwork and prepare for the CPA once a month.
- Utilize QB software to maintain financial records, including accounts payables and bank reconciliation.
- Collaborate with your team member, as needed to support various functions at the front desk in our office.
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents and reports. Ordering or picking up supplies for the office once a month.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an office assistant and or manager.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with Quick Books.
- Proficiency in QB software; excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
