Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Radiation Therapist role located in Plano, TX at Texas Oncology. The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for administering radiation therapy as prescribed by the radiation oncologist, ensuring patient safety and treatment accuracy. The role involves operating equipment, monitoring patient reactions, and educating patients on the treatment process.
Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Knowledge of Radiation Medicine
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
- Experience working in an oncology setting is a plus
