What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance Verifier position at Texas Orthopedic Center of Excellence (11720)?
USPI Texas Orthopedic Center of Excellence is seeking a motivated Insurance Verifier to join our team. We have 5 OR rooms and 1 Treatment room. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in GI, Orthopedic, Pain. We are looking for a candidate to be available Monday-Friday, schedule subject to changed based on surgical schedule and flow of day. Candidate needs to be available for some early mornings and later evenings.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Job Summary:
Validating and entering patient information and insurance coverage into the appropriate computer system.
Verify insurance benefits by reviewing our contract and patient’s quoted benefits.
Determine co-pay.
Post all insurance and billing comments.
Enter all information into the patient accounting system.
Contact patients regarding money due prior to the date of surgery.

Required Skills:
- High School education and/or equivalent
- Minimum two years previous experience hospital or ASC insurance verification required.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
