Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for the preparation of sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment. Assumes departmental responsibilities in the absence of Coordinator.

What you will do in this role:

• Documents pertinent data in a concise manner
• Prepares instruments and supplies through cleaning, packing, sterilizing and storing procedures
• Understands principles of sterilization techniques and operates sterilization equipment
• Assists in departmental cost containment effort
• Performs equipment distribution and routine cleaning and maintenance
• Maintains attendance and punctuality, ready to work your scheduled hours is an essential job function.
• Assumes department leadership role in the absence of SPD Supervisor.

What qualifications you will need:

• Technical or Vocational Training
• Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT) must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
• No Travel Required
• 3-6 years' experience Required Years of Experience
