Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a warm and friendly environment.
- Assist patients with paperwork, including intake forms and medical history.
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar.
- Collect and update patient information, including vital signs and medical history.
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and therapies.
- Assist chiropractors during patient examinations and treatments.
- Perform basic administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and responding to emails.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including treatment rooms and common areas.
- Educate patients on chiropractic treatments, exercises, and lifestyle modifications.
- Follow up with patients to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Adhere to all HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines.
- Collaborate with the chiropractic team to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Certification or training in medical assisting or chiropractic assisting is preferred.
- Previous experience working in a chiropractic clinic or healthcare setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature, with the ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer systems and electronic health records.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new chiropractic techniques and technologies.
- Physical stamina and ability to assist patients with mobility if necessary.
