What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Billing Specialist position at Texas Pain and Injury Center?
- Processing Medical billing and records to be submitted to law firms for auto accident claims.
- Reviewing patient bills & records for accuracy and completeness, and obtaining any missing information.
- Preparing, reviewing, and transmitting claims using iSalus and QuickBase
- Following up with Attorneys to insure that bills were received.
- Answering all patient or attorney telephone inquiries pertaining to assigned accounts.
- Updating billed spreadsheets, and coordinating with the collections department regarding claims billed.
- Bilingual is preferred.
- Must be able to multi-task and work independently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
