**Overview:**
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Collector/Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in eClinicalWorks (eCW) medical billing, coding, and collections with a strong understanding of medical terminology and office procedures for a Pain Management Practice. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing for patient services, as well as maintaining a high level of quality in medical records and collections.
**Duties:**
- Must have eClinicalWorks (eCW) billing and collecting experience.
- Utilize medical coding skills to assign relevant ICD-10 codes to patient diagnoses and procedures.
- Review and verify patient medical records for completeness and accuracy.
- Use medical billing systems to prepare and submit claims to insurance companies.
- Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and errors in a timely and professional manner.
- Utilize A/R reports to strategize and implement collection efforts with our team
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology and medical office procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure accurate and timely billing.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in medical coding and billing regulations.
- Implement effective strategies for medical collection and follow-up.
**Experience:**
- At least 1-2 years of experience in medical billing and coding in eClinical Works (eCW).
- Strong knowledge of medical coding principles, including ICD-9 and ICD-10.
- Proficiency in eClinical Works (eCW) medical billing systems and software.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and office procedures.
- Proven experience in medical collection and follow-up.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy and attention to detail.
