Position: Case Manager I-III Children’s BH [1289]
Program: Amarillo, Texas – Children’s Behavioral Health
Salary range:
Case Manager I: $40,809.60 Annually
Case Manager II: $43,305.60 Annually
Case Manager III: $46,009.60 Annually
Shift available: Full-time
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language
- Serves as a Skills Trainer Specialist for the Children’s Behavioral Health Department in Pampa and surrounding areas
- Will be responsible for teaching and role modeling skills that addresses community living, social, coping, problem solving, anger management, parenting, and self- control skills to families and youth ages 3-18
- Will be trained in TRR approved curriculums that emphasize evidence-based practices to help improve daily functioning
- Position will organize and provide culturally competent care activities and collaborate among all participants involved with the youth's care
- Additional duties can include: assessment & treatment planning, working within the team to ensure appropriate services are delivered, engaging family by providing outreach and education, and taking a family & person-centered approach to help identify strategies and objectives
- Will provide services via phone & face-to-face, in both home and community-based settings
- This position will spend at least half of his/her working time directly working with the youth, family, and/or family supports
- Position will assist and collaborate with C&A BH Team in promoting skills development and covering Amarillo and regional areas throughout the Texas Panhandle
- Adheres to TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised
Required qualifications to be successful in the job:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a major in psychology, sociology, social work, counseling, or other related human services field for QMHP credentialing
- For Case Manager I, no experience required
- For Case Manager II, minimum one (1) year of experience in behavioral health case management
- For Case Manager III, minimum two (2) years of experience in behavioral health case management
- Graduate work in a related field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of experience
- Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy
- Must be 18 years of age or older
