Responsibilities
- Set up and operate video production equipment, including cameras, lighting, and sound equipment.
- Assist in the filming and recording of live and pre-recorded programming.
- Monitor and adjust audio and video levels for optimal recording quality during productions.
- Perform equipment checks and troubleshoot technical issues before and during productions.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to implement creative visions and concepts.
- Maintain and organize production equipment to ensure readiness for shoots.
- Support post-production processes by assisting with editing and video formatting as needed.
- Proven experience as a Production Technician or similar role in a broadcast or production environment.
- Strong technical skills in both audio and visual equipment, including cameras, microphones, and lighting.
- Familiarity with video editing software and post-production processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
- A relevant degree in Film Production, Broadcasting, or a related field is preferred, but experience will be considered.
