Job Summary
We are seeking an Acute Care APP (NP/PA) in the Fort Worth, TX area to work in the hospitals to assist with pulmonary and critical care call coverage.
We provide some on-the-job training.
Qualifications:
- Current state license
- Prefer acute care training
- DEA certificate
Job Description:
- Work in collaboration with other pulmonary and critical care physicians and APPs to provide coverage for a large service-line of pulmonary and critical care patients
- Perform various procedures as needed, including: intubation, central line insertion, arterial line insertion, and thoracentesis
- Provide direct clinical services for critically ill patients with a variety of underlying issues
- Obtain patient health histories and complete physical exams
- Formulate and implement diagnostic and treatment strategies
