JOB SUMMARY: The position of Mobile Wiffleball Coordinator is responsible for the safe and secure transportation of our mobile wiffleball cage (known as the Power Alley) to events across the DFW area. It is also responsible for setup, and teardown of each event attended. The ideal candidate will be capable of towing a trailer, managing event logistics, coordinating staff, and ensuring an excellent experience for event attendees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Ability to travel routinely, including overnight stays, to ensure Power Alley inflatable batting cage is transported to each event on time and safely returned to its home at Globe Life Field.
- Ability to safely tow and manage a trailer with event equipment.
- Coordinate event logistics, including setup and teardown.
- Ensure adequate supplies and premiums (e.g. giveaways, promotional items) are available for each event.
- Track and record key event metrics, such as the number of people engaged, premiums distributed, and other key statistics.
- Oversee event operations to ensure smooth execution and a positive attendee experience.
- Communicate with event organizers and staff to ensure timely arrival and departure.
- Write detailed recaps for each event, highlighting successes, areas for improvement, and key metrics.
- Safely pack all items to prevent damage during transit, utilizing specialized materials and techniques to ensure their security.
- Conduct regular inspections to guarantee the condition of the truck, trailer, and inflatable batting cage remains pristine and arranging for any necessary maintenance or repairs.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Depending on the type of transportation involved, relevant licenses or certifications might be required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and experience towing a trailer.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lead and coordinate a small team.
- Comfortable with manual labor, including setting up and taking down event equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible and long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50lbs.
- Ability to bend and stand for long periods of time.
