Description
We're looking for an IT Project Manager / Scrum Master who will manage projects/teams, facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint demos, retrospective meetings, and other project-related activities.
You will work with the leadership team to ensure all business deliverables are identified and accounted for in the project plan with responsibility and due date and facilitate the development of project plans, schedule, and work breakdown structure for software development projects.
Requirements
- 3 years of Project Management experience, preferably in an IT/software development environment
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical subject area or equivalent experience/training
- Knowledge of Scrum theory, rules, and practices
- Practical knowledge with requirements and test case development
- Proven knowledge of project management subject areas/deliverables (e.g. Schedule, Scope, Quality, HR, Communications, etc.)
- Track record of successful work experience as a Project Manager / Scrum Master in leading projects across multiple software development methodologies, specifically Iterative, Incremental, and Agile
- Proven skills to mentor teams in software development methodologies
- Understanding of the overall software development processes/procedures to understand challenges of the various team members
- Skills in problem solving, predictive analysis, specifically on software development/deployment projects, resource/staffing management
- Experience in measuring project success factors with respect to cost, schedule, and quality, i.e. product requirements quality, test quality and code quality
- Experience interacting with business customers and managing expectations
- Ability to work with business interface teams, business leads, development & QA teams, and interlock resource managers to estimate cost and negotiate requirements to minimize project impact
- Ability to take and understand the dedication to deliver the product on time, while being creative enough to lead a team to success
Bonus Qualifications
- PMP and/or Scrum Master certification
- SAFe methodology and certification
- HP Program and Project Management (PPM) software experience
- TFS and Azure DevOps Server 2019 experience
- Multiple agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc. experience
