Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. In this role, you will be a point of contact for our clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Support : Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information about policies, coverage, claims, and billing.
  • Policy Management : Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, cancellations, and new policy applications.
  • Claims Assistance : Guide clients through the claims process, ensuring they have the necessary information and support.
  • Problem Solving : Address and resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policy updates, and transactions in our CRM system.
  • Cross-selling : Identify opportunities to recommend additional insurance products or services that align with client needs.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with insurance agents and underwriters to address client needs and improve service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience : Previous customer service experience, preferably in insurance, financial services, or a related field.
  • Licenses : Current Texas General Lines Agent License (Property and Casualty) or willingness to obtain one within 6 months of hire.
  • Skills :

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM software.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a high attention to detail.
