Data Entry Clerk

Texas Shafts, Inc. is a specialty contractor that installs drilled shafts primarily for highway bridges, large commercial projects and transmission lines. We are looking for another team member to join our support staff at our Haslet, Texas main office. This position will be to help track and maintain inventory control of our assets and Purchase Orders.

Current hourly range for this position is $20.00 to $22.00, Monday – Friday and occasionally Saturday. Compensation offered may vary depending on experience.

Full Job Description:

Complies and maintains records for quantity, type of parts stocked, pulls inventory for Operators in the field by performing the following duties:

Responsibilities will include the following:

• Generate Purchase Orders as Needed.
• Keep up with Purchase Order logs and reports.
• Enter equipment into asset tracking system
• Help with pricing estimates.
• Prepares reports such as inventory balance and location of assets.
• Counts parts that are in stock and records total into our inventory system.
• Distributes inventory when needed.
• Verifies and adjust any errors in the count or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
• Compiles information on receipts of disbursement of material, equipment, or supplies and computes inventory balance.
• Stocks parts and supplies when count is low.
• Other duties may be assigned.
