Bead Recovery Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Rigs-up and rigs-down of Bead Recovery (Drilling Bead) service equipment, learns to complete documents, reports, and forms in support of the service performed.
• Proper set up of electrical cables, routing of pump hoses, and lines.
• Operation, maintenance, & observation of pumps and unit controls.
• May conduct training in the operation of some or all of the equipment.
• Requires the ability to effectively communicate with others -supervisors, customers, and rig workers
• Perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; and basic reading comprehension and writing skills.
• Operating heavy equipment
• Promotes and takes an active part in the quality improvement process, promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations, and ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.

Requirements (Please be sure your experience is reflected on your resume)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year Bead Recovery (Drilling bead) equipment experience
• 6 months Solids Control (shakers, centrifuge) experience
• Utilize safe work procedures & processes for all products, equipment, with HSE focus.
• Understanding of general drilling rig operating equipment, circulating tanks & fluids, shale shakers, solids control, and safety procedures.
• Must be able to lift 50 – 80 pounds, pull hoses, climb ladders, & get dirty when required.
• Heavy Equipment (Excavator)
• Basic computer & email skills.
• English (Required)
• Valid Driver's License
• Must have or can acquire Certifications: PEC Safeland, H2S, and Excavator Safety
• Must pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screen, Physical, and Background/MVR Check
• Candidate must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.

Shift / Rotations

• 13 Hours p/day
• 2 weeks on/1 week off or 4 week on/2 weeks off (per manager needs)

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $22.00 per hour

• Excavator - (6 months exp): 1 year (Required)
