6 month Assignment (Temp to hire)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or General Foreman.
- Reads and interprets instructions and procedures.
- Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site.
- Transfers chemical from one vessel to another outside 90% of the day
- May move materials manually or using handtruck, electric dolly, wheelbarrow, conveyor, or hand-operated crane or hoist.
- Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities.
- Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
- Performs other duties and activities as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or GED
- 1 yr Chemical Transfer Material Handling experience
- Outdoor Warehouse labor -Loading & Unloading Chemicals
- Inventory Management -Cycle Count
- Shipping & Receiving
- Tools/Machinery: Forklift, Pallet Jacks, Pallet Wrapper, & Hand tools
- Good Organizational, Time Management, and Communication skills
- Must be dependable & have a stable work history
- Customer Service
- Candidate must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
- Must pass pre-employment Drug/Alcohol Screen, Physical, and Background Check
- Current driver's license
ROTATION/SHIFT
- 5 Days on/2 Days off rotation, some on-call
- 6:00am-6:00pm
Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Pay: $19.50 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
