Tool Technician

6 month to 1 year Assignment (Temp to Hire)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Under strict supervision, performs maintenance functions such as repairs on down-hole tools, surface equipment and other production equipment in the application for down-hole tools.
• Assembles and disassemble down-hole tools, surface equipment, and other production equipment.
• This is the entry level position into the tool tech family.
• Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
• Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
• Promotes and takes an active part in the quality improvement process.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• Some Tool Tech experience a plus
• Mechanical aptitude -Working hands on
• Tools experience: Pipe wrenches, screwdrivers, Hand tools
• Must be Safety minded and Attention to detail
• Must be a Team player -works well in a group
• Ability to lift a max of 60 pounds
• Ability to work constantly on feet
• Basic computer skills.
• Good Communication skills is necessary.
• The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required.
• Basic Math, Reading comprehension and Writing skills are required.
• Must have steel toed footwear & reliable transportation.
• Current driver's license
• Candidate must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
• Must pass pre-employment Drug/Alcohol Screen, Physical, and Background Check

SHIFT

• Monday-Friday
• 7:00am-4:00pm regular schedule, - sometimes 9 or more hour per days. There is a workload every day to complete.
• Some weekends (pending workload).
• There are pop up jobs sometimes so workload could always change.
• No rotation… everyone works together

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
