Job Description Summary / TWC Summary
This position provides leadership and coordination for the university Enterprise Applications and ERP support and integration. While serving as a member of the Office of Information Technology’s (OIT) leadership team, this position will be involved in the development and implementation of a variety of institutional strategic, tactical, communication, and other plans, projects, and initiatives. This position is responsible for directing the activities of the OIT ERP Support team, ensuring the provision of consistent and superior services, while also providing professional development opportunities as needed for continued success and growth. Provides strategic visioning and solutioning for the university’s ERP support efforts including ERP operation, administration, integration, state reporting, audits, and information security. As a member of the OIT department this position strives to ensure consistency in communications, actions, and alignment to the strategic plan of the university. This position is also responsible for supporting the mission of the university by delivering technology, services, solutions and guidance to the students, faculty, staff, and the community in a professional, exemplary, service oriented collaborative manner.
Essential Duties Summary
- Responsible for leading ERP Technology initiatives that designs, simplifies, enhances, and supports ERP Solutions
- This role will lead and coordinate all IT related responsibilities with ERP integrations to third party on-prem or cloud solutions
- Work closely with the other IT Service Leaders to collaboratively define, deliver, and support the university.
- Responsible for the successful execution of various projects, strategies, roadmaps, and service restoration efforts associated with delivering ERP Technology Services
- Design, implement and support end-to-end analytical solutions that are highly available, scalable, stable, secure, and cost-effective
- Develop domain specific conceptual architecture with an understanding of the data flow among existing and future systems
- Work with business partners to understand and define requirements, OKRs, and processes to drive strategic application efforts
- Drive technology assessments and participate in the purchasing process for new technologies in partnership with business partners
- Oversee professional service engagements managing resource hours and overall project budgets
- Establishes, plans and administers the overall policies and goals for Information Technology, including long-term and day-to-day activities (staff/student how-to’s, training)
- Promotes the university through speaking engagements and involvement with the campus community, community at large and with the business community.

Education
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Information Technology, Business or closely related discipline preferred.
Required Licensing/Certification
ITIL Certification a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of:
- Have a deep knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (eg. Banner, Workday) in Higher Education
- Banner ERP experience needed for understanding conversations with the business offices and executives
- Managing Banner Finance and Student experience is a plus
- Full understanding of SDLC
- Smart sheets / ServiceNow for project tracking
- System Integration (eg. Snaplogic, Boomi, or Mulesoft)
- Complex systems and procedures automation
- Demonstrates expert knowledge in multiple disciplines. Acts as the ultimate subject matter expert in several professional disciplines and is the “go-to” expert on principles, methods and procedures. Requires the ability to create methods and approaches to handle unique situations.
- This position should be categorized as not only an organizational leadership role, but also as a thought leader providing leadership to IT and non-IT departments through guidance.
- Must have outstanding written/oral communication and analytical skills, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to communicate on both a technical and business level.
- Must be proficient in IT project management.
- Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, or Power Point.
- Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications.
