Texas Staffing Solutions is seeking a hardworking, reliable production associate for a machine operating position for an automotive carpet manufacturer on the south side of San Antonio. As a production associate, you will be responsible for feeding carpet fibers into the machine to create the finished product as quickly and efficiently as possible. This position is a night shift position, with a 4-day work week. Overtime is occasionally available on Fridays.
Night Shift:
- M-TH 4pm-2:30 AM
- OT available on Fridays when necessary
Pay:
- $15/hr night shift
Responsibilities:
- Load raw materials into the machine using proper safety precautions.
- Unload material from the machine and ensure the finished product is up to production quality standards.
- Report defects and machine irregularities to supervisors.
- Work quickly and efficiently to meet the needs of production.
Requirements:
- Must be comfortable with lifting at least 20 lbs.
- MUST have reliable attendance.
- MUST wear steel toe shoes.
- Ability to stand for 8-12 hours a day.
- MUST pass a background and a drug screening.
