- Willingness and ability to travel, with availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Physical ability to lift and transport materials and assist with indoor and outdoor events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in office software tools and experience with relevant CRM and project management tools.
- Experience developing compelling content tailored to different audiences.
- Basic graphic design skills to create visually appealing content using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.

Job Description
The Alumni Engagement Coordinator is responsible for fostering engagement with the university by building relationships, promoting participation in events and programs, and recruiting and stewarding alumni volunteers through innovative digital strategies. This position will design, implement, and analyze digital engagement initiatives to build and sustain relationships, enhance alumni participation, and support the overall mission of the university. While the role will support all activities of the Alumni Engagement office, the day-to-day focus will be on digital engagement efforts.
Job Duties
- Manage online event registration, including creating event registration websites, managing RSVPs, and communicating with registrants.
- Collaborate with campus partners to provide effective event management solutions to increase alumni engagement.
- Serve as subject matter expert for on-site event management and QR code check-in software.
- Manage data integrity for recording event attendance and volunteer participation in the alumni database.
- Develop post-event communications, surveys, and reports.
- Monitor digital engagement and provide actionable insights to improve the alumni experience to meet engagement goals.
- Support the regional engagement strategy by developing relationships with alumni in key regions and managing the online presence of the alumni ambassador program.
- Support the development of alumni networks by managing the externally facing web presence of alumni ambassadors and network events.
- Manage online alumni networks and forums, fostering active participation and discussions.
- Manage volunteer forms on the alumni website and develop relationships to engage prospective volunteers through targeted outreach and communications.
- Oversee the management of an online merchandise store, including tracking inventory, updating online offerings, and overseeing order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with the Advancement Communications team to create content, deploy event communication plans, and maximize engagement opportunities.
- Support signature events and programs, to include the Distinguished Alumni Gala, Alumni Awards program, and athletics support programs such as tailgates.
- Other duties as assigned.
