Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.
- Expertise in single droplet levitation and surface characterization techniques.
- The selected candidate will assist in the development of projects aimed at understanding how the physicochemical properties of the air-water interface change with increasing surface charge density.
Preferred Qualifications
- Practical experience using and maintaining the instrumentation in the Jacobs research laboratory (including Kruss tensiometers, UV-vis spectrometer, fluorescence spectrometer, and a quadrupole electrodynamic trap).
- Experience with Labview and python programming languages.
- Experience generating materials to support grant-related activities and publication material.
- Experience with placing orders through SAP, SOP documents and material inventories.
Job Description
Responsible for performing a wide range of duties considered exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Job Duties
- Support research activities in the Jacobs laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Michael Jacobs
