Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
A Yard Clerk creates new shop orders on material being delivered and creates inbound heat lists. In addition, he enters the correct inbound description, counts material coming in per truck, bundles, and checks for heats, P.O., sizes, vessel, and correct customers identification. The clerk notifies the customers after material has been entered in the database and after material has been segregated. The clerk understands the process flow of production to assist with pipe movement. The clerk creates BOLs and is knowledgeable of the plants inventory of pipe by customer.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High school education or GED.
- Skills: General computer skills, Microsoft suite, inventory control.
- Experience: 1-3 years working in manufacturing.

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
