What are the responsibilities and job description for the Off-road Truck Operator position at Texas Sterling Construction?
We are seeking a skilled off-road truck operator to join our team! As an Articulated Truck Operator, you'll be responsible for moving materials around the job site using small equipment. If you're experienced in operating off-road trucks and enjoy working outdoors, we want you on our team! A valid driver's license and experience is required.
Responsibilities and Abilities:
• Steer the vehicle to load material and haul it to the dump site
• Control the hydraulic dump-bed using hand and foot levers
• Use a shovel to remove loosened material
• Maneuver equipment using levers and pedals to raise, lower, and tilt
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including lubrication, fueling, and cleaning
• Six months to one year of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• A valid US driver's license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
